Come join the COPA North East Region Fly-at enchanted, unique Mackinac Island, Michigan. KMCD is a swell GA 3,500’ hard runway, recently redone with two RNAV Approaches.
We have arranged special rates at the Historic Grand Hotel. Steep yourself in the movie location where “Somewhere in Time” starring Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve was produced.
The loosely structured event will allow you ample time to indulge in the brand new this year, “Ester Williams’ Pool, take organized tours of the Grand Hotel facilities and grounds, visit historic Fort Mackinac and experience reenactments, bike-ride, explore town, hike the island-no cars sorry, sample multiple famous fudge shops, golf, tennis and so much more. Horses dominate this island and will happily move you anywhere you wish.
Three nights is barely enough time to sample all the relaxing or active experiences. Group dining will be be arranged each night at one of the hotels multiple dining venues with differing cuisines. You may charge all meals and beverages to your hotel account. Non-COPA friends are welcome also. Come and have wonderful time before heading over to KOSH
