I KNEW I was going to reach my frustration point. I'm there....

Maybe, I shouldn't be so married to the design. That's a failing in designers and engineers. We get so attached to our creation we proceed without a good business case. "If you build it they will come".....mmmmmm, maybe not.

Well,,, I'm going to build them anyway. I'm ordering enough components for ten sets. Not more, not less. For those who have already spoken up at $4995.00...you are on the list. For anyone else...sorry, Charlie. There are about three sets unspoken for and they will be $7200.00. I will start shipping in four weeks.

The list as I know it is:

1. Michael Doody
2. James Law
3.  Louis-Bernard Lechartier
3. Clyde Stubbs
4. Jim Winner
5. Patrick Darby
6. Eric Brady
7. Bart Law

Guys, please confirm.
Thanks!

RJ,

When we spoke about two weeks ago I asked to be put on the list for the Ice Skates and the Tri Tips.  (See Tri Tip Post).  I assume I still qualify for the COPA price.

One confirmed. Maybe I'll take two and sell one for 6K...Devil

When are the SR20 lights coming out? I landed at Bar Harbor last week after dark and I couldn't see the taxiway or the parking area for squat!

RJ ,   what is the finish on the delivered product?  Just trying to figure out if I need to paint or not.

Hi Guys

It's nice to know everyone is excited about the product. This is clearly a labor of love for me so I'm very appreciative of your emails. Dave, the finish is in aircraft epoxy primer. Color matching is almost an impossibility without the airplane here. However, that technology is changing. All paint ages and at a different rate. Even at the factory the whites are slightly different. These days the refractive paint readers are getting better and soon it will be possible to have your finish "read" and transmit the data to a paint system which will mix and match. No one is there quite yet, but it's coming. Till then, taking a painted part to a local painter to match is still best.

Cheers!
