First post on COPA. I recently joined and am the proud owner of a SR22T. I had the pleasure of doing advanced Cirrus transition training with Tom Donaldson, cirrusexpert.com and had an exceptional experience. I truly learned the flight chacteristics of the cirrus first hand, and performed real world flying with multiple system failures (breakers pulled). I’ve learned so much and feel much more proficient in the airplane, and would encourage anyone seeking improved proficiency and worst case senario training to check him out. Also, Ryan Farr, CSIP in LA area, is a phenomenal instructor. Very cerebral teacher, extremely knowledable, and makes flying in LAX airspace enjoyable/painless.
Delayed response: Thanks for the kind words, Justin. Hope you're doing great!
