Hi guys. I just bought a SR22T 2013 and will be flying it out of Palomar/Carlsbad KCRQ. Does anyone have any experience/recommendations for a good CSIP in the San Diego area? Thanks! Chuck
I did a BFR/IPC with a Dave Simpson and he was great to work with.
Will you do the Embark training?
Alex: Hi. I didn't realize you came to Palomar. I've seen some of your videos and know that you are one of the "Rock Star" CSIPs! Please put me on your list and let me know when you are at KCRQ. I would love to fly and learn with you. Best, Chuck
Hi. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll contact Dave and check on his availability.
I did the Cirrus transition last year before I bought my plane so I could be sure I liked flying it. I understand I don't qualify for Embark since I have prior training. Oh well. I see Embark as just an introduction and LOTS more time is needed to be safe and proficient in the Cirrus.
I appreciate the info. Best, Chuck
Thanks, Nicolaas! Chuck
I used John Derence in the San Diego area about 5 years ago. Not sure if he is still active. 1-951-285-2269.
Kevin: Thanks. I sent him an email at his work at TechFlight Aviation. We'll see if he is still there. Cheers, Chuck
I’ve been flying with Tom Guthrie out of French Valley (F70). Did my Embark training and now working on instrument currency with him. He’s with Executive Flight Instruction. Cell is 858-663-4601. Good Guy.
Mark: Thanks. I have chatted with Tom. F70 is a little far for me right now but maybe in the future............. I appreciate your letting me know. Best, Chuck
