Thanks Arthur! Great weekend but nasty thunderstorms on Sunday afternoon. Got home safe after 2 hour delay...Tom
Arrive early, leave early.
saved my butt today!
great hanging out.
I was the last one out (Ricky Decided to spend the night.). Jose and Mike helped me pick a route that got me home without incident.
A huge thank you to everyone, both instructors and participants alike! Thanks Ed, Carrie and Doug for the "brown wine"...I am enjoying some right now (yes, with Fresca!)
Thanks to everyone for the great travel advice. I love COPA!
First time attending & happy I made it. Fun & productive. Glad everyone made it home safe. Those storms over the area were nasty!
This is just one of many screen shots I took on my ForeFlight. I waited a few hours for it to move out of my way because it wouldn't look good to crash after attending a CPPP event. I know "Get-There-Itis" has killed others so I just hung out with all the pilots. Many decided to just spend the night and that's fine too. Glad everyone got home safe and great to meet old friends and make new ones.
It was a great weekend! Tom, you have a wonderful flying machine. We had a short flight home to KUES (Waukesha just outside of Milwaukee). We launched when we a had a weather window. I was asked who flew home? I did, it was my turn, we take turns every other leg. The right seater works the radios, hence why you heard Doug on the radio.
I can not recall how many CPPP’s Doug and I have attended. We learn something new at each and every one of them. Not to mention catching up with old friends and meeting new.
Ditto from me. I had a great time and learned a lot. Thanks to everyone for putting on another successful CPPP. See you at Migration and Osh!!! Chuck
