Sadly, I decided to sell my Avidyne 2007 G3 TN... Aerista did a post in Marketplace and here is the Controller link: https://www.controller.com/listings/aircraft/for-sale/32519991/2007-cirrus-sr22-g3-turbo
I really hate to let her go. Love that plane. I spent a ton on it - avionics, interior upgrades, AOA, CiES fuel gauges, ceramic coating, all the MX recommended and Savvy-managed too, so full data available. But I just partnered up in a 2016 Piper M600 and have a CubCrafters FX3 delivering this summer (about to go finish up the build - check out the blue one on the CubCrafters webcam - N441JM!). So I just can’t justify a third airplane.
Really sad about it though. Did my IFR training in 429SR and she is a good ship. Selling for a lot less than what I put into her ... someone is going to get a great, turnkey airplane at a great value. In my humble opinion of course! As I told some pilot friends, after getting the listing done I had to run out and buy soap and shampoo for the bath I am about to take! *laughing*
But I really wanted to fly a turbine before I retired and could no longer afford to do so. I did drink the Chuck Ivester/Paul Lehman Kool-Aid - very happy with the M600 and in the middle of the mentorship phase. Amazing airplane - it’s a whole different experience. Super excited about the FX3 too!!! But I’m gonna miss the sweet sound of my little silver bird ...
Any questions feel free to ping me. Although Aerista is being paid to do the heavy lifting...
Beautiful aircraft. I am in the market but I will be ready to purchase in July. If it is still available then I most definitely will be interested.
Hi Bret. Saw this plane and immediately thought about you. Awesome avionics and interior. I do think it will be gone by July though. Picked up my plane last Friday and flew about 4 hours and have flight training tomorrow and Friday.
Has it had a TOP OH yet?
More temptation to let go of the classic PA24-250 ride.
Nicely upgraded plane at a fair asking price. I'm always surprised at some of the crazy asking prices. Good luck with the sale, have fun with the m600..and the cub of course.
Joel, I keep drooling over N429SR!! Beautiful plane thanks to all that you’ve invested in upgrading it. Wish I could make the purchase. It’s taking serious restraint not to take the plunge with the wife not objecting... Good luck with the sale, and with the new plane. Cheers, Lou
Please call Aerista if you’re serious about it! Thanks!
