Looking to buy a 2005-2007 SR22 G2 (non-turbo), S/N #1863 or higher, low hours SMOH, well maintained with all logs, no damage history, (preferably with WAAS and ADS-B but not mandatory).
I'm located in North Carolina (and just joined this group).
Thank you in advance...
This may be inappropriate but I just took delivery of N722RD, like yesterday.
Excellent! Good to know...
Hi Ken and Welcome to COPA! I hope you find your bird quickly. I have a 2004 and simply love it!
Thank you Tony!!
G2s rule. Good luck in your search. I notice lately that there are not that many listed. They certainly are a bargain.
Maybe it is just because I am in the market for one as well that it appears to me that they are far less of a bargain than a year ago... Once you adjust for TBO countdown, ADS-B, let alone avionics upgrades, it feels like total-cost-of-ownership is converging with Avidyne G3s...
Good choice. I had a G2, and it was always good for 168-172 ktas on 14 gph over a wide range of altitudes.
I fly a G2 22 in 28374 if you need any help.
Agreed w/ Zaid. Love my 05 NA G2. Perfect sweet spot for price / value.
One word for OP: I once read an article that it's better to buy an aircraft near TBO than one that just came out of OH. The reasoning is that an aircraft that just came out of OH is more likely to have an owner who had planned to sell going into the OH. So the seller may have been motivated to save some expenses during the OH process. Better buy an aircraft near TBO and use the savings from purchase to conduct your own OH. Of course if the OH was performed by a reputable shop it's less of a concern. Best wishes. You will love the G2.
