At Maui Flight Academy, we produce the highest quality and safest pilot possible, and not everyone makes the cut. One of the fundamental differentiations of your training versus other civilian schools is the emphasis placed on Angle of Attack (AoA). AoA is the primary instrument used by military pilots for safety, precision and control. Most recently the NTSB, FAA, Boeing and NASA (read the respective reports by clicking the links) recommend all pilots train and learn AoA.When you become an Angle of Attack trained aviator, and train at Maui Flight Academy, you will find yourself at a special place. You will be transformed, and begin to find out very quickly that you are in elite company. Navy and Air Force pilots are trained extensively on Angle of Attack from the first day of class and is the life blood for the rest of their flying career. By the end of your training, you will become an Angle of Attack trained Private Pilot.
I tried this the other day when I did some pattern work and it definitely works better with the trim and working the controls just by hand. It's a great technique and I'll use the trim a lot more in the pattern going forward.
How about a CFI an executive CFI program!
Congratulations to the newest COPA member Brent Albert from Oklahoma earning his license in 21 days !
Good for him!
I will add though, that if I told my examiner that 23 years ago when I did my PPL, the discussion would have gone VERY differently..
Hawaii seems like a nice place to train. AoA indicators look neat and I will probably get one.
Laurence, what is the pricing for this program?
