A quick note to update you all on our Jet Shades. We have been working hard over the past few months to nail down several templates so that we can produce a well fitting product in a short lead time. The Cirrus templates are up and running, so lead times for production should now be less than 4 days from the date of order. You can order at https://jet-shades.com/shop/propeller/jet-shades-for-cirrus-sr22-sr22t-srgts22/
We are getting a lot of good feedback on the product which is great. These shades are an engineered product cut from optical quality poly-carbonate, with 4 layers of patented lamination applied to enable the dramatic cooling effect, and the 98% reduction in UV rays. We are working hard to make a product of exceptional quality, that will really enhance your flying experience.
All the products are made in the U.S in our facility in South Florida with local employees and a local owner. We stand behind the product. If anyone has an issue with one of our products, just give us a call and you will get straight through to a real person, who will help facilitate an exchange.
We are looking forward to being active members of the COPA community, and in fact both Kevin Duggan and I have thousands of great hours logged in SR-22 aircraft and love the plane and the Cirrus community.
I ordered mine for the front back on the 16th. Does this mean I should have them soon? I have a trip next week and would love to have them for it.
Second, I noticed there was no option to order just the rear shades if I decide I wanted to expand to the full set. Thanks.
This probably should be moved to marketplace so more might see it.
Ordered mine June 18th - Four working days would be the 22nd so mine should have shipped by now? I haven't received a ship notification - but not all companies send them....
I will make sure both these sets are being made and getting shipped.
If you would like to later upgrade to the full set, meaning you just need the rear panels, just email us via the contact page on our website and explain what you would like. We will charge the difference between the advertised prices, so it won't cost you any more. That is our policy at present, and I don't foresee it changing in the next few months, which is not to say it won't ever change!
I noticed they were only available for G3-G6 on the website. What about for us with G1 and G2 aircraft?
I have mine for my g2 SR20. The rear ones didn’t fit so they are redoing them. Just put the exact info in your order.
We are finding significant differences in the interiors of the G1/G2 aircraft vs the later aircraft. So we are working on a different template for the G1/G2 aircraft. We are making good progress on it as we have had a few people who have been able to send us images and tracings of their G1/G2 windows. We will have a solution in the market within the next couple of weeks.
The G3 and later aircraft are all fine to order right now with a production lead time of 4-6 days, plus shipping time.
Great to hear! Please keep us updated, as I am sure just more when me would be interested when available.
I will finish up the tracing on mine today. You might track the G1's by Serial number.
Tim I love the idea of these. If they will fit my G2 front windows, I will take a set. My email for invoice is Tyler@LoPrestiAviation.com
I will be measuring my g2 rear windows as soon the Jet-shades team send me the template. My front ones fit fine, but my only caution is that the older planes may have trim that's warped like mine is in the front and so your mileage may vary even if they cut them perfectly. I'm SR20 S/N1670 so if you're close to mine in date your front ones may fit already.
I would also be willing to provide measurements for the G1 if I can get a template.
I have them in my G2 up front. They are fantastic. HUGE difference. Looks pretty sharp on the ground to with the reflective tint up front.
Well a little good news for Cirrus owners. We at Jet Shades just bought a 2008 Cirrus G3 Turbo to fly around in. This means we will be updating existing Jet Shades products and inventing new Jet Shades products for Cirrus Aircraft, as we have an in house demo aircraft to test these concepts with. We all ready have a few new things on the drawing board. Really looking forward to taking delivery of our new aircraft this week.
We will be at the COPA migration in Vegas as well, learning more about flying the cirrus. Hope to see you there!
do yall have the measurements for the g1 yet? i have a friend that is ready to buy if you do
