Within the next few weeks I'll be shopping in earnest for a G2 SR-22. If you're thinking of listing yours, save yourself (and indirectly me) the broker's commission and get in touch.
Here's what I'm looking for:
Ideal:Fairly low engine time, (not necessarily low airframe time)
Big preferences: upgraded autopilot DFC90, and ADSB compliant, 6 point engine mount
Would be nice: models with glove box, air conditioning
Ice protection a must have.
I can't say I'd totally rule out a plane that doesn't have much of that at the right price, so holler at me either way if you've got one.
Ben SanfordMust haves: Fairly low engine time,
Gordon is giving you good advice. (like he always does) My first Cirrus had "only" 400 hours when I bought into the plane (2004 Sr22 NA in 2015) as the owner said he was not flying it enough. (oh really!) Well, in two years I had put another 200 hours on it and a LOT of money into the engine.. Sold it back to the partner!
Yeah totally agree, I am referring to a rebuilt or new engine. Edited initial post for clarity. via iCopa
I believe all G2s have the 6-point engine mount. So at least that is one thing you don’t need to worry about.
