The course fee (Ground + Flight) is $800 (750 Euro for European courses); a Ground Only option will also be offered for $350 (300 Euro in Europe). Full refunds will be available if cancellation is received 21 days prior to the date of the course. After that point CPPP will be committed to the cost of the facilities / instructors / meals and will not be able to refund course fees regardless of the reason for the cancellation. However, CPPP will offer Cancellation Insurance for $125 (Ground+Flight) or $35 (Ground only). The Cancellation Insurance will provide a full refund of course fees regardless of the reason for or timing of the cancellation. Experience has shown that last minute cancellations occur for a variety of unforseen personal, professional, and weather-related reasons; participants are strongly encouraged to consider purchasing the Cancellation Insurance.

Registration is strictly first come, first serve. All COPA members will be alerted by email prior to the start of registration.

The formal portion of the course will be scheduled for 7:15 am Saturday through 3:00 pm Sunday. Participants should plan to arrive on Friday evening; COPA will arrange for hotel accommodations at preferential rates. Meals will be provided starting with an informal Friday evening Hangar Party through Sunday lunch, including a group dinner on Saturday night.

Typical Agenda

From 12:00 noon Saturday, flight option participants are split into two groups: Flight Group A and Flight Group B. One flight group flies while the other is in ground school; then they swap. Ground sessions are arranged so that ground only participants take all 5 ground sessions over the two days; flight option participants will take Normal and Emergency Procedures plus any two of the remainng four ground segments.
