1/2 Price X3 upgrade special!

I never want to hear myself say "Well 64k is all the memory anyone would ever need" (Bill Gates, 1984) but I think the X3 is close. It's gigantically bright and still low power requirements. In fact, we have a deal for upgrading all our X2 customers. Until September 30th we have a HALF price upgrade special!

The retail price for the TriTip™ X3 upgrade is $1399.00. Half price=$749.00
The retail price for the Cowl X3  upgrade is $749.00 Half price=$375.00

The catch is, we only have 20 sets of each. When they're gone...they're gone.

Rj,

I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but your come-ons are getting honeyed enough for me to wonder if I'm truly safety conscious. To help move the economic stimulation along, can you point me to where the capabilities and eligibilities for these two products are described?

Any airliner-gauge benefits accruing to a G1 SR-20 (s/n 1298) are icing on the cake, of course.

Hi Sanjay!

I'm not going to reply right away....I'm want to enjoy the moment......

Where would we be without our guilty pleasures.

But you do know what they say about not letting a serious crisis go to waste, right?

PERFECT response!

ooooh.  Now you've got the temptation meter running higher.   How much more ooomph do I get with the X2 to X3 upgrade?  Whats 'removed' and can I do it myself (is it just the bulb?).

I just got dinged for my autopilot, and my alternator 1, but this is getting very tempting indeed.

Hi Jay
We've been working on this for over a year. It's wayyyyy cool!
The new electronics for the X3 have been designed to allow the bulb to emit (pressure wave) 65% more light than the X2 without affecting bulb life.
The ballast assembly get exchanged. We send you the new one and you send the old one back. It's a simple swap and best of all, we designed it to fit exactly on the old mounts. (A little applause, please......).

RJ:

When I got mine the "exchange option" on the ballast was not part of the deal. I still have the old ballast. Does it have exchange or "core" value with you?

Hi Brian

It was supposed to be an exchange.....But you're special......

I get it. So the answer is "no".

Thanks!

RJ,

What's the expected time to perform the upgrade for each of these options?

Now you're playing into his hands, I'm sure.

And the next question:  are there any consumables involved?

I'm so glad you asked! We packaged a snickers bar with the original X2 cowl kit. The communication was, by the time you finish eating the snickers, the light was installed.

The upgrade to an X3  takes half as long. I think we'll only send a Reeses peanut butter cup with this one......

The tip upgrades are a snap also. The pieces are accessable in the tip. Take the tip off. Exchange the parts. (Everything fits in the exact same place) Reinstall. (2 hours would be generous)

Cheers!

Hi Sanjay!

OK, I guess I've enjoyed my guilty pleasure long enough! Here's the general data as posted elsewhere. Give me a call if you want more specifics.

We're in the process of revamping our website and erecting new, however COPA is the best reference for our stuff. There are tons of our customers here with an equally large number of testimonials. The tech specs are pretty straightforward. We own about 70+ % of the aviation HID market. We brought the original lights to the market 10 years ago. Everyone from Hawker and Citation to Cirrus and Piper uses our lights. We have specialized in Cirrus products over the last half decade and provided the factory standard light for all that time (until Cirrus ran into a cash crunch). Now we provide our technology as a factory option and an aftermarket upgrade. The X2 was our first big upgrade with over 2.5 times the output of the factory standard lights. The new X3 produces 65% more than that. (or over 400% brighter than factory).

The technology has a 5000 (five thousand hour) warranty and actually uses less power than an incandescent bulb. (About 1.6 amps/bulb). We are especially proud of our TriTips™ because the light is the smallest part of our design improvement. We invented a non-glare fence solution that "spills" light for taxi and is tune-able for beam width. If you cruise the COPA site or ask users, you will find they universally applaud the result.

If we can be of any further help..please feel free to call.

Cheers!

RJ,

And can I assume that the old parts can be kept as spares just in case the 5000 hour estimate is off a bit? Cool
