I will take the wheel pant plugs.  I can take all 8 unless someone else wants some.

Curious - why on Earth would you want 8 of them? If you bend the "prongs" carefully outward before you insert them, they'll stay put forever.  A guy at the factory showed me that when I pickd up my NA in 2003 and the original plugs were still on the airplane when I sold it 5 years and 1250 hours later!

My issue isn't so much that the plugs are coming loose in flight.  My issue is FBO linemen breaking the plugs when they remove them to fill up the tires.  I've had two broken in the last year.

Todd:

Why not remove them yourself before you have the FBO touch the tires?

I'd never let a mere lineman get near my tires, and certainly not unsupervised. If you don't have butyl "leak stop" tubes, get 'em, and you'll not likely need any top-off between oil changes.

It looks like butyl tubes and Dresser retreads are on my shopping list!  Not sure of the physics - with butyl tubes will the tire pressure fluctuate based on changes in ambient temperature?  I have the wireless tire pressure monitor and note swings between flights of up to 5 psi on my non-butyl tubes. Not sure if its a loss of air pressure or a change in ambient temperature.

Could also be that the monitor isn't very precise. Physics of rubber vs. butyl are pretty simple: Rubber is porous; butyl is (relatively) not!
