I have a used Iskra starter that I replaced with a new Skytec ST5 on my SR22.  The starter was functioning fine and has around 200 airframe hours on it since Cirrus replaced it with a new (not rebuilt) part while under warranty.  Very reasonable if you would like it.  Call David Bulman 518.793.5545.

David, two questions if you don't mind...

1. If it was replaced under warranty, how did you end up with the old starter?  For warranty replacements, the old part has to go back to Cirrus doesn't it?

2. How do you like your ST5?  Do you notice any differences when starting, compared to the Iskra?
