Founded in 2001, with thousands of members worldwide, Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association is a non-profit organization established to promote the safety and enjoyment of flying Cirrus aircraft. COPA is a volunteer-run organization completely independent of Cirrus Aircraft.

Safety & Training Programs
COPA members have an astoundingly better safety record than non-members. Some of the reasons why:
CIRRUS PILOT PROFICIENCY PROGRAM Going far beyond “check out” or “transition” training, CPPP is the most in-depth program for Cirrus pilots. Held throughout the USA and in Europe, CPPP offers both ground and flight sessions with seasoned certified Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilots. (Registration fee.)
CRITICAL DECISION MAKING SEMINARS Free half-day seminars held throughout the USA explore real-world situations and help pilots develop effective techniques to become safer decision makers.
ANNUAL SAFETY ISSUE One magazine issue a year focused on safety topics, accident statistics and lessons learned.
REGIONAL FLY-IN EVENTS Volunteer regional coordinators regularly announce one-day (and sometimes longer) events where COPA members will gather to socialize and meet face-to-face. Venues range from casual airport lunches to formal events held at attractive locations with special talks, tours, and activities.
ANNUAL MIGRATION Each summer hundreds of Cirrus aircraft come together for the event of the year. A weekend of excellent seminars, trade show, and family-friendly socializing awaits. A hugely successful and popular event. (Registration fee.)
