It is simpler than FreeMind. It als has (decent-enough) collaboration capabilities.

I've used mind42 to explore a couple of business ideas. It's quite useful as a brainstorming tool. And unlike, say, something drawn on a sheet of paper, you can return and add to to it anytime a thought strikes you.

Reminds me of a few times in west Tx. in years past,( when eyesight was better) we would land sometimes at small airports in remote areas, at night only to find the PC lighting system inop on arrival. No notam was on record at preflight.

Most of the time no one was really responsible for the airports in these small towns,so calling in notams for inop equipment was hot happening.

Sometimes we would find farming equipment, ie cotton strippers, wheat drills etc parked on the ramps or taxi ways. They dont really show up that well till you are on them.

Once when landing at Pampa Tx. we were confronted with a row of black hawk helicopters parked in the grass between the runway and the taxiway. They are really hard to see in dim light or dark conditions. The catch was that their rotors extended out over the taxi way.

Sounds like you made some a very good inflight decision and fought off the " get home itis" tendency well.

fly safe and fly often Buster O.

Glad to hear that your decision-making hove to the conservative course. When it comes to in-flight decisions, improvisation doesn't seem to be the best behavior.

Plus, I didn't know Center was empowered to act as a secretary! A very useful bit of information.
